I tried to install a program from a disc on my computer and it gave me a cyclic redundancy error.
How can I fix this?

You can’t. You’ll need to get hold of another copy of that program. There’s a fault (scratch, dirt etc) on that CD, and because of that the system can’t pick up on it.
